Crowdsourcing Money helps startup vibrator?

When an engineer and industrial designer came up with an idea of a new luxury vibrator, they didn’t have any funding, so they came up with the idea of pitching the product to potential customers, via CrowdSourcing.

If i were a woman i would probably be pretty happy, but as a man on an academic level, this is astounding, it’s hard to believe but people committed to $104k worth of these high end vibrators and exceeded all their original funding needs.  These products have also been picked up by Babeland.com and GoodVibes.com. So, there appears to be a quality product here, funded to startup and… its off to a fantastic start.

Funny enough, they seem to be high quality and high tech.   A higher priced version can hold 8GB of data via USB or a gold plated 16gb version sells for even more at about $350.

Women out there enjoy this … it must be a crowdpleaser, no pun intended.  Sadly as a man, there just isn’t much to please in this dept.   Why do women get the cool stuff? oh well, enjoy this video on Crave’s Duet product.
