Thousands of people at Coachella last weekend were shocked during the Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg performance
when Tupac showed up in the form of a computer generated hologram.
Music fans aren’t in kansas anymore and it is likely going to be startling in upcoming years when people can imagine Queen performing with Freddie Mercury again, Michael Jackson live or countless other ideas.
But… is the Tupac performance new? In Japan there has been performances by “Hatsune Miku” a fictional pop star which has filled arena’s with 25,000 attending. This computer generated pop star, using the digitized voice of a celebrity actress.
It could be an interesting future, but with all of the technology, it certainly is neat. But in our estimation, nothing beats the real deal.
Yes, Tupac visual was generated by computer with specialized computer voice to custom sing with his voice is neat… but… lets celebrate the amazing artists of the world while they are here. But, as far as tech goes. it is pretty neat!
